Merry Christmas!

It's Christmas today and I'm happy to be home!
Ryan, Jessica, Jacob, and Ian came over a few times. It was so nice to see them! The boys are getting so big. They look ready to walk any time! Though I guess they need to crawl first...
It would have been nice to have Kari, Brent, and Alexis home too! But I guess they gotta do what they gotta do :/ I hope they had a nice Christmas.
Today mom woke me up at I don't know what time, but I was in the middle of a dream. I went back to sleep and she woke me up again at 9. I was tempted to sleep more, but I decided that I should get up.
So then we had Christmas! I got a new ipod! I also got Okami for wii and Mario Kari for wii! A few movies and clothes and yay! I'm so happy!

Finals Week

Finals week is over!!!
None of my finals were too hard, thank goodness.
I'm pretty sure I got 100% on my BoM final because it was completely opinion.
I only got 75% on my American Foundations final.
I don't know what I got on my others, but I feel pretty good about them.
It snowed this week! Well, it snowed one day and stuck. It continued to melt away all week long. But I woke up this morning (at Kari's) and there's a fresh batch of snow on the ground!Monson is gone. Lindsay asked if she could talk to Kelsey and I. So she sat us down and told us we needed to get rid of Monson. She's going to take him to an animal shelter :(

I had a dream last night that mom got my report card and she showed me and everything was Fs and Ds. I was like "What???" And I didn't know what happened. Let's hope it isn't like that in real life!!

Monson

This week was great :D

I don't remember what day it was. Either Monday or Tuesday. Celeste came home with a cat XD
He's a stray that we've seen around the area for a few months. The first time I saw him, I named him Monson.
So when she brought him in I was excited! "Monson??"
And now everyone that comes by normally knows him as Monson. We've even told a few of the other apartments that take him in.Monday was our last FHE. We all made letters to each other. It was nice :)
We weren't ready to let our FHE group go, so we had everyone over for dinner on Sunday. I made Poppyseed Chicken (I love it! Thank you, Jessica!!). Kelsey made soup and Celeste made pasta. The boys made a salad and the girls brought dessert.
It was so much fun! I wish we had had dinner together more often! I'm going to miss my FHE group sooo much!

Thanksgiving Week

We've been at Kari's house all this week for Thanksgiving break. It's been really fun! I love visiting my family and Alexis is so fun to watch and play with <3


On Thanksgiving, we went over to Grandma Kotter's for dinner. It was really good! After, we hung out for a long time. The cousins and I played some games I taught them and we showed each other magic tricks we knew. It was a really good time, I didn't want to leave!
I was the photographer for a family photo shoot I did for Kari/Brent/Alexis! that was fun, too. I made this collage for them out of Kari's favorite pictures.

PreThanksgiving Week

Our Freezer is completely out of whack! It's freeeezing! Also, our fridge is almost warm. Weird :/

On Friday, Celeste and I went out for ice cream :) It was nice to spend some 1 on 1 time with her.
Saturday, Celeste left and so I was home alone with Lindsay.
That night, she took me to a play at her old High School. It was Bye Bye Birdie. Oh my goodness, it was amazing. I couldn't see the IHS theater department pulling off something like that in a million years. Everyone could sing and everyone could act and they actually used their orchestra. It was sooo good!

Sunday, Linds and I went to church at noon instead of 1:30. So many people we gone that they combined the whole stake into one ward. It was about the size of a ward, too. Crazy.

And now I'm at Kari's house! :D

Fun Times :)

I haven't updated in a while, sorry ^^;

Well! Thursday was a concert Lindsay was in and she gave Kels and I free tickets. It was a really good concert, it made me miss band. Luckily I get to take band next semester :)

Friday night, we had a roommate sleepover :D
We went out to dinner (at like 9pm) at Winger's. Yummm!
Then we came home and laid blankets out on the floor and we watched Meet the Robinsons. We brought sleeping stuff down and had a little slumber party in our living room. It was fun :)

Saturday was Extravadance. Joseph and David had invited us to go with them. It was super good! Celeste was amazing :D
My favorite dance was the hiphop one. It was really fun :)

Sunday, Joseph came over. He staid for like three hours.
It came up that I had never gone on a date before (besides prom), so Joseph freaked out and told me he was going to set me up with someone. He said he'd make it a double date so I wouldn't feel as awkward. But then he decided he wanted to set Kelsey up to, so we'd make it a triple date. Later, Lindsay came down and liked the idea, so she wants to make it a quadruple date XD
Either way, it's kind of exciting.

My internet had been out since Friday morning and it just came back today! Yay!

On Friday, Kels and I hosted a little Halloween party. Her old roommate Julia drove over from Utah and staid with us for a few days. Her other roommate Emily brought some of her friends over too (just for the day though).

On Saturday, Julia was still here and Emily came over. The four of us watched movies almost all day. What a day, haha. It was fun, though.
And on Sunday, Julia went to church with us. She went home almost right after.

Yesterday, we had FHE. The other girls were in charge of the activity, but they forgot, so we played little games that people suggested.
The game we played the longest was the one I suggested. Someone stands in the middle and spins with their eyes closed. Everyone else also moves around. The person stops and points, then says the name of an animal. The person they point at has to make the sound of that animal, and the person in the middle guesses who it was.

Ward Halloween Party

Our Ward Halloween party was last night!
Celeste and Lindsay couldn't go, but I convinced Kelsey to go with me.
We had to walk all the way up to the Taylor building in our silly costumes. Everyone kept looking at us strangely XD
Our FHE group had the theme of "Fat Super Heroes"
Joseph's FHE was "Peter Pan"
Kurt and Jeff's was "Mafia"
And David's was "Monty Python" (they won the costume contest)
It was a lot of fun :D

Eigth Sunday

Not much happened this week.

On Monday we confirmed out Halloween plans. We're being stuffed super heroes. I'm going to be Smiley Girl.

Some other day, Joseph came over and he and Kels and I hung out until almost midnight. He took us to Walmart to get fabric for our capes.

Uhm... Yesterday, we cleaned out the fridge. It's much more organized now.

Week 7

This week was very very good. Especially Friday :)

On Monday for FHE we met together and brainstormed ideas for the ward Halloween party. Each FHE group has to come up with a theme to dress up as a group together. We decided on Super Heroes. I'm going to be Hello Kitty girl. Ben is going to be Tumor Boy. Lindsay is probably going to be Nerd Girl. I don't know about the rest.

On Thursday, Travis came over to hang out with me. For a long time, he kept texting me asking to hang out. I always found excuses to not go :/ I didn't really want to hang out with him.
But I finally agreed. So he came over Thursday and we made cookies and played DDR and some card games. Of course, I convinced Kelsey to hang out with us so that I wouldn't be too nervous and uptight. Linds and Celeste were also there for a while.
It was fun, but I don't really want to hang out with him again.
He wants to, though.

Friday night I went to a Barcelona concert! Well... Barcelona was one of the opening bands for Sherwood. But I only went because Barcelona was playing.
I was SOOOO surprised when I heard they were coming. I thought "What could they possibly want in Rexburg?" But Kelsey said it was a College town, so I guess they would get a better crowd than some other places.
It was so excited! I was so nervous to go.
I was planning on finding him afterwards and talking to him. After the show, I saw Chris and Rhett (his band members), but no Brian.
I talked to Alyssa after and she said he was feeling sick so he went to sleep somewhere. (Alyssa didn't like The Pink Spiders (one of the other opening bands), so she went out and found him while they were playing).
When I got home, I got on facebook and messaged him. I said he probably didn't remember me, but I was so and so, and I was so excited that he came to Rexburg and that I was going to College there now.
He responded (which surprised me) and said that he "totally remembered me" (which completely surprised me / made me yelp out of excitement and surprise Kelsey). We had a little conversation, but his responses were very short, so I figured he wasn't too interested and didn't continue the discussion too long.

On Saturday, Kels and I hung out with Rikke! We went and saw Mama Mia. I really hadn't planned on ever seeing it, but I actually really liked it! It was good :)
After, we went and got Thai food. The Pad Thai wasn't very good, but Rikke's Red Curry was. If I go again, I think I'll get that.
Rikke came back home with us and we watched Edward Scizzorhands and the Corpse Bride. I love Johnny Depp and Tim Burton :)

I made dinner on Sunday. I made Poppyseed Chicken (which Jessica taught me to make). It was soooo good. I loved it :D

Mother's Weekend

It was mother's weekend this week!
Mom and I went to Battle of the Dance, Comic Frenzy, and Natalie MacMaster. We also saw Kung Fu Panda :)
It was nice to have mom over.
It was also VERY nice to have so many people over for dinner! It felt like home.

It was a lot of fun :)

For FHE on monday, we played extreme spoons!
For each round, the spoons were put into something more and more messy.
At first it was normal spoons, then it was spoons in popcorn, then spoons in jello, then in pudding, refried beans, and some other things.
It was so fun XD

Saturday night Kurt and Jeff came over. I figured they came for Celeste, but they said they wanted to visit all of us. So while Celeste was working on her talk, Kurt and Jeff hung out with Kels and I as we watched the Princess Diaries.
They both hugged us before they left. They were my first BYU-I guy hugs!
Also, before Joseph left today, he gave Kels and I half hugs.
Yay hugs :)

Also, after some people left on Sunday and Kari/Brent/Lex/Mom were about to leave, I went with Lindsay/Celeste/Jordan/Will to go meet up with Ben and his mom in the Snow to sing hymns.
We sang for an hour and it was really nice. They all sang really well, I felt a little out of place, but I enjoyed it a lot.
Lindsay also taught me how to play Mary Had a Little Lamb and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star on the Cello :D

Fifth Sunday

This week has been fun!
The weeks go by so fast. It's nice :)

I don't remember too much.
But yesterday I went to the Spori with Kelsey. She worked on her art project and I played on a nice piano. Mmmm, it felt so nice to play on it, I didn't want to stop.
Kelsey's reference for her art project was Gackt (my favoritest idol).
I think it turned out really really good. She's proud of it, too.

Joseph came over today and yesterday. I like it when he visits. Our apartment isn't very exciting without him ^^;
Celeste has been hanging out with her friend Kurt a lot. He told her that he liked her, but she didn't feel the same way.
Still, they've been hanging out a LOT ever since.

I don't know what else to say.
Today me and Kels went to the Snow Building and I played piano for her. This piano was really nice too ^^;

It's been really cold the past two days. But it's supposed to get warmer tomorrow and for the rest of the week.

Fourth Sunday

It's been a pretty big week.

I'm at a point where if I wanted a boyfriend, I could probably have one.
But I'm not quite sure if I want one right now.

I sit by this guy named Bryan in my math class. At first, I kind of liked him, so I decided to "go for it" and sort of flirt with him.
But the more I get to know someone I like, the less I like them in that way.

He's walked me to my English class a few times (the class right after math), and he even went with me and Kels to the Stephen Beus concert (even though he doesn't like piano or classical music).
I sort of get this vibe that he knows I like him and that he likes me.
But I don't know if I like him anymore.

Anyway!
Today was a good day.
I got a calling. I'm the Relief Society Publicity Assistant or something like that.
After church, one of our home teachers, Joseph came over. I didn't think he'd stay so long but he staid for over three hours.
It was a lot of fun, though.
It was just me and Kels and him. He ate dinner with us and we talked a lot.
He's a lot of fun.

Also, this friday we decorated our apartment! Kelsey got some vinal (I don't know how to spell it) from the bookstore, and some curtains and a slip cover from Walmart.
It feels a lot more homey now :)

FHE

On Sunday we got our FHE assignments.
And it turns out I'm the FHE Mother.
The Father is engaged and is moving out soon, so he doesn't come.
Which makes me a single mother :(

We had FHE last night and we played a little get to know you game. We just passed around a sheet of paper that had several silly questions to answer about yourself.
That took a lot longer than I expected. Rather than just a little 10 minute activity, it took over half an hour. So the actual activity we had planned, we're saving until next week.

We have six boys and eight girls.
Derik (The Father) doesn't come, but one of the girls brings her boyfriend, so it's still six.
I'm going to try to remember all of their names:
Ben, Caleb, Mark, Lindsay, Sam, Chad, Holly, Kelsey, Brittany, Jennifer, Chad, Celeste, Kelsey, and me! (I remembered in the order we were sitting)
Yay!
We have a very fun group and Caleb is very very cute :)

I'm excited to get to know them all better.

Second Sunday

Okay, so it's not Sunday anymore, but that picture was from Sunday.
We had a bunch of guys over! It was a lot of fun.
First Dan dropped by. He's a lot like some of my guy friends back home, so I was pretty comfortable around him.
Then Lindsay's friend Kyle and Celeste's friend Kurt came over. Rather than just talking to their friend, they opened it up and talked to everyone. At one point, Lindsay and Celeste had to leave, which made it easier for the four of us to get to know each other.
I had a blonde moment in a conversation, which was a bit embarrassing, but it also helped me feel more comfortable with them because they laughed at me.
Before they left, Kyle said he'd remember that moment for a long time.

Then today was the ward social. It was fun, but I had to leave early because our ride had to leave. But it was fun while it lasted!
Then later, Celeste and Lindsay were out, and Kelsey was in the bath, so I was the only one really around.
There was a knock at the door and I answered, and it was two guys. I expected them to ask for Celeste, but they said they were the welcoming committee and asked to come in.
So I was alone with two guys talking for about half an hour. It was kind of exciting, but the whole time I was sort of wishing Kelsey would come down and join us.
But I guess it was good practice for me ^^;

Church and Classes

Sunday I went to church with my roomies!
We're in the 57th ward! Wow! It was held in the Spori building.
Monday I had my first day of classes. I had Career Exploration, Math in the Real World, Writing Foundations, and Humanities.
Then today I had Book of Mormon, Science Foundations, and American Foundations.
All of the teachers are really nice and funny. It's easy to feel comfortable.
The only class I'm really worried about is American Foundations. It sounds pretty hard, but I'll just have to try to keep on top of everything.

Today I also went to the devotional with Celeste. I had forgotten about it and was going to start on my homework when she called me and invited me to go. Brother Clarke spoke and it was really good.

Moved In

I moved into my apartment yesterday.
Kelsey was already there, and later I met my other roommates Celeste and Lindsay.
