Curly Hair

No Sunday Apartment picture again :(
I walked to church by myself today because Mileah's at her home ward again, Kortney left early, and Alicia slept in.

This week I was sick for a few days. I don't really know what it was. I had a really sore throat and my head hurt and my whole body ached. So I missed my classes for two days. But luckily I was able to catch up on everything I missed.

I don't remember what day this way, but Alicia asked if she could do my hair. Of course I agreed! I never do anything with my hair because I want to sleep as long as possible in the morning--and because I don't really know how to do anything.
So she curled me hair!I really like how it turned out. But I can't curl my hair myself. :/

On Friday I went to guitars unplugged to see Kortney perform. It was really good. Her band got the most applause out of all. It was a really long song, though. There was a drummer, a keyboard player, a guitarist, a bassist, a saxist, and two backup singers (Kortney was one of the singers). Really flashy.

Then on Saturday Ray and Lee came over and we and Alicia played my new wii games with me. Mario Party was pretty fun, but we all really liked Wii Sports Resort. We only had time to play one game on it, so we played the fencing one and it was really fun.
Then we all went to the best of guitars unplugged. There were some really good performances. Kortney's band was the closing act and the crowd had a blast.

Family Weekend

I got to visit Kari, Brent, Alexis, and Logan over the weekend! Mom and dad came to visit too!
I love going over there and playing with Alexis and Logan :)We gave Alexis and Logan a bath together. They are so cute!

On Friday night, mom and dad took me to Wingers (my favorite restaurant in the world!) And then we watched the kids while Kari and Brent went to dinner.
On Saturday I got McDonalds for lunch (my other favorite place) and then mom and dad took me shopping. Yayy :)
And then on Sunday me, mom, and dad took Alexis to Renae's for dinner. Kari and Brent staid home with Logan because he wasn't feeling so well :(

Valentine's Day

On Monday for FHE we went to the boys' house and played Mario Kart for Wii. Alicia didn't go, and Mileah and Kortney left right after the lesson. I wanted to stay the whole time though! So I got a ride home with the other girls. I beat everyone at Mario Kart except for one of the guys who was really really good. It was fun :)I don't remember which day it was, but Kortney does birthday parties for little kids. She has a Jasmine outfit and goes to visit little girls for their birthdays, and has a pirate costume for boy parties. She loves it :)
And she looks pretty convincing, too!

On Friday night I went on a date with Steven. He's kind of an awkward boy. But it's okay, I'm kind of an awkward girl.
He pretty much asks out every girl in the ward though, hoping someone will say yes.
It was a double date. The other guy was my old FHE brother, Mark. He made us chicken enchiladas and they were really good. Afterwards we went to the Symphony concert. They only played two songs, but it was a two hour concert. I found myself zoning out a lot, but overall, it was really good.

Saturday morning, I was going to go to yoga and then work out. But I slept in -_-
Vanessa came over, and her, me and Alicia watched a movie called Bright Star. I liked the preview, but I didn't like the movie. It was kind of a Romeo and Juliet story. But I don't like Romeo and Juliet.
Later that evening, I went to Helen's apartment for a Single's Awareness party. We made cake and watched Star Trek.

Today at around 2:00, the guy I like asked if I wanted to hang out with him later that day. He said he'd text me the details later. Well, he never did. So in my free time, I made this video.
Geddan, or "Get Down", is a popular "dance craze". It started in Japan and spread to America. There's like a million youtube videos on it. So I wanted to make one!

And then on Sunday night, Joseph came by. He said he had been thinking about me, so he got me a necklace! My only Valentine gift from a boy! Haha. It's a pretty necklace. They're ones he was selling for his business class. It was really thoughtful of him :) And it made my day.

My Week

It's been a generally good week :)

I believe it was Monday that the guy I like asked me to study with him a few times a week. We have Chinese together, and I study it so much on my own time that I can pick up what we learn in class pretty easily. So on Wednesday we met together and it was nice. We were going to meet on Friday too, but he canceled. But hopefully we'll get together tomorrow.

On Friday night I went with Alicia and Vanessa to the Acoustic Cafe, and we saw Ray and Lee there so we sat by them. Alicia and Vanessa left a little early to go latin dancing, but I really didn't want to go to that, so I stuck around and hung out with Ray and Lee. Afterwards, I went back to their apartment and Lee played his guitar and sang a few songs. I was very pleasantly surprised. That guy's got the voice of an angel :)
After that, we watched Nacho Libre. Haha, it was pretty dumb, but I like dumb humor.
Saturday morning I woke up early and went to yoga. I was going to go with Rikke, but she woke up too late, so I went by myself. I really really loved it. I'm definitely going to go every saturday. After yoga, I met with Rikke and Helen and their other roommate, and we worked out for a bit, and then Rikke drove us to the store. Then Rikke, Helen, and I went to Craigo's for lunch.
That night, I went to the Peking Acrobat show. Seriously one of the most amazing things I've ever seen in my life. I was so utterly impressed.
Afterwards, the guy sitting behind me told me that watching my reactions to the stunts was one of the more entertaining parts of the show. My mouth was hanging open almost the whole time haha. Or my hands were over my mouth. Or I was exclaiming "oo"s and "ah"s. It was really really good.

This Sunday was our first Sunday that we all went to church together! The four of us all sat in relief society together and sacrament meeting together! It was really nice.

Frustrating

I never had a problem with roommates who broke the rules before.
But this is driving me crazy.
Alicia's almost always out past curfew with her boyfriend.
And he comes up to our room a lot.
Today I was downstairs, so they went up to our room and they made out on her bed.
This is driving me nuts.

I'm scared to come out of the shower in my robe because I have to wonder if Tim is upstairs. Or I have to worry about if my pajamas are too revealing, because Tim always comes up to say goodnight to Alicia.

But I can't talk to her about it. Alicia gets offended very very easily, and she holds grudges. If I tried to talk to her about it, she'd get really mad at me.
