Having Fun

I forgot to mention that last Friday we went to Mileah's concert. It was a Barber Shop concert and it was suuuper good! The main event in it was a group called FRED and they were really funny.

I'm still really enjoying my classes. I'm learning a lot from all of them.
Friday night, Kortney's boyfriend's aunt was in town, and the three of us went out. We went to Arctic Circle for dinner and then we went to the premiere of When in Rome. It was a super cute movie! I would definitely see it again.

Yesterday, we were supposed to have drill, but no one showed up. So it was just me and Alyssa. So instead of working on the routine, we kind of had a drill appreciation day and watched drill videos for like an hour and a half. And then we went to McDonald's together :)
Later that night, Ray, Lee, and their roommate Don came over and we went to Rikke's apartment for a movie night. A few other people were there as well. We watched Eagle Eye (really good, I loved it!) and Hercules. The girls quoted almost the entire movie @_@ it was a little shocking.
For one of my projects I had to do a genogram. Mom helped me out a lot on it, so here's the finished project.

Post 2

I keep forgetting to update. Or I think to update, but I forget everything that's happened.
But mom called today and helped me remember a few things.

Last Saturday, I worked out with Rikke in the morning. Afterwards, we went to Chinese for lunch, and then decided we were going to see Avatar that night. I had already seen it, but I wanted to see it in 3D this time. We were going to see it at 7, but when we got to the theater they said it was sold out. So we got tickets for the 10:10 instead, even though it would put us past curfew. Cammi, Rikke's roommate, Kortney, and Kortney's date went with us. We went to Olive Garden for dinner, since we had two hours to burn before the movie.
Avatar was almost twice as good in 3D. It was amazing!!

On Monday I met our FHE group. I knew three of the girls already, but I hadn't met the others.
For the activity we made giant paper airplanes out of poster paper. We then took them up to the top of the stadium and threw them off to see whose would go the farthest. They all kind of just went straight down though. Ours got stuck in a tree :( We spent like 20 minutes just trying to get it out, but to not avail. We will miss the Fat Winter.

Winter Semester!

I haven't updated in a long time... ._.

I'm really liking the semester so far! At first I was a little intimidated because my two new roommates are gorgeous and popular. But they're really nice too, and we get along alright.
That's me an Alicia, my room-roommate.
And I don't have a picture of Kortney, so I took one off her facebook. She's sooo pretty and sooo nice. She's nice to everyone and makes everyone feel good :)
I'm also getting along a lot better with Mileah than I did last semester.

I LOVE my Chinese class. It's so exciting to learn, and I'm progressing pretty well. A cute guy who sits by me asked for my number so he could call if he had questions. I need to keep studying hard!
I also really really like my World Religions class. I love learning about other cultures and beliefs so it's really interesting and exciting.
And weight training is exciting too. I've been wanting to get back in shape, but never had the willpower :/ But now that I go to the gym and work out for my class, I find myself going even when I don't have to.

Winter Break

Winter Break came and went. It definitely went too quickly. But I am happy to be back at school.

When break started, I almost right away hung out with my girls.We went to Ashley's house and hung out and ate dinner. I missed them and it was really nice to see them again.

Then I saw Jason. I hadn't seen him since the beginning of the Summer. We went to his house and played the new Mario game and the oldschool Starfox.

Later that day, mom and I made bulgogi!

And then it was Christmas!Mom and I really like the watches Jessica sent! They're pretty.
I also got the Sims3, which I played a lot during the break. And Mario Party 8 and Wii Sports Resort. And some DS games and clothes and a tablet. Thank you!!

I think it was after Christmas that I saw Will and Matt and Ryuichi. I went to Will's and we played Super Smash Bros and hung out.

A few days later, I went to lunch with Ryuichi and Matt.

And then I saw my girls again!It was a good break :)

Dead Computer

So my laptop died a few days ago. I can turn it on, but it can't load windows. I've tried a bunch of different stuff--system restore, safe mode, auto repair, etc, but nothing worked. One friend said I need new memory. Another friend said I need a new hard drive. I assume it's a hard drive issue, or something with just the OS. I dunno :/

Either way, I won't have a computer for the rest of the semester. I've been using Kelsey's about once every other day to check facebook and stuff, and I've been using the library to do my assignments.

I'll update with details about the rest of the semester and pictures and things when I get home for winter break.

Asian Adventure #2

My first Asian adventure was making Bulgogi.
This time I tried making Omurice (basically a rice omelette).
I didn't have all the ingredients, but that's alright. I didn't really want to put mushrooms in it anyway. Also, you're supposed to put the rice mixture (rice, onion, green onion, ketchup, and chicken fried together) onto the egg and fold it over, like an omlette. But my egg was too small, and I couldn't fold it over. Also, I made way too much rice. So they ended up looking more like egg/rice pizzas instead of an omlette :/But they were good! I want to make them again some time, hopefully with bigger/thinner eggs and less rice so I can make it an actual omlette. I think I want to try adding some cheese next time too.

Thanksgiving Break

I went to Kari's for Thanksgiving Break. It was a lot of fun to see her and the kids. Logan's getting bigger and Alexis is a bundle of energy. I'm so grateful I got to spend time with them!
On Thursday, mom and dad came up. We then went to grandma's for Thanksgiving.
Then the next day, we went back to grandma's and built graham cracker houses.
And the next day, we went to Dansie's for Brooklyn's birthday party. Also, we got a hotel for the night. Kari/Brent/Alexis/Logan came over and we all went swimming.
Sunday was Logan's blessing day! He looked so handsome, and he was good the whole time.
