So my laptop died a few days ago. I can turn it on, but it can't load windows. I've tried a bunch of different stuff--system restore, safe mode, auto repair, etc, but nothing worked. One friend said I need new memory. Another friend said I need a new hard drive. I assume it's a hard drive issue, or something with just the OS. I dunno :/

Asian Adventure #2
My first Asian adventure was making Bulgogi.
This time I tried making Omurice (basically a rice omelette).I didn't have all the ingredients, but that's alright. I didn't really want to put mushrooms in it anyway. Also, you're supposed to put the rice mixture (rice, onion, green onion, ketchup, and chicken fried together) onto the egg and fold it over, like an omlette. But my egg was too small, and I couldn't fold it over. Also, I made way too much rice. So they ended up looking more like egg/rice pizzas instead of an omlette :/
But they were good! I want to make them again some time, hopefully with bigger/thinner eggs and less rice so I can make it an actual omlette. I think I want to try adding some cheese next time too.

Thanksgiving Break
I went to Kari's for Thanksgiving Break. It was a lot of fun to see her and the kids. Logan's getting bigger and Alexis is a bundle of energy. I'm so grateful I got to spend time with them!On Thursday, mom and dad came up. We then went to grandma's for Thanksgiving.
Then the next day, we went back to grandma's and built graham cracker houses.
And the next day, we went to Dansie's for Brooklyn's birthday party. Also, we got a hotel for the night. Kari/Brent/Alexis/Logan came over and we all went swimming.
Sunday was Logan's blessing day! He looked so handsome, and he was good the whole time.

Bulgogi
Julia staid at our apartment for a whole week!
It was a lot of fun. I love Julia :)
On Thursday night, I decided to make Bulgogi.
Ray and Lee came over. Heidi, Julia, and Kelsey ate some too.
I was nervous about how it would turn out because I'd never had it before.
It took two hours to make x.x
And I made a mistake. I didn't know what a "clove of garlic" meant. So instead of putting in two cloves, I put in two whole ones.
So when Kelsey came down when I was about to start frying it up, I asked her what a clove was. So she helped me pick out a bunch of little pieces of garlic..
It turned out good, though! Everyone kept saying that it was really good. I'm glad :)
The time and effort went to good use!I'll have to make it some time at home, too. I'd love to make it again.

Happy Halloween
Okay, so Halloween was yesterday. But I'm just sticking to my Sunday post tradition.
Last Monday was our Ward Halloween party. It was in the Kirkham this year instead of the Taylor. There weren't very many activities, though--not like last year. There was a team relay thing, but I only got to participate in one activity, and then I couldn't see the rest. However, at one point, every group got up on "stage" and did a little 30-second skit thing. It was entertaining.
On Friday, Emily came over and we went to the D.I. to help her find a costume to become Princess Lolly. After, we went to Winger's for dinner <3 So the rest of us played Candyland. Every time we landed on a character's space, we played a game based on that character. For Queen Frostine we had an ice cream eating contest. For Princess Lolly we had a dance contest to a song called Lollipop. For Mr Licorice we had to make art out of three pieces of licorice. For Mr Mint we had to close our eyes and taste a flavored candy cane and guess what the flavor was. And for the final game, we had a Mario Kart relay on Rainbow Road (for the boy/girl player event).
After that, Ray and Lee left. Emily's boyfriend, Cid, came over and we hung out with him for a bit. We had SOOOO many leftover treats that we decided to make plates full of food to give to our relief society and FHE sisters. So we went around the complex delivering treats. It was fun :)
We were so wired on sugar that we didn't fall asleep until reeeaaaallly late. And then we ended up sleeping through church....
Literally. When we woke up, church was already over.
Kelsey made red curry for dinner, and Ray and Lee came over. We hung out with them and we watched Totoro. It was really fun because Kelsey and I were both still wired on sugar.

Boring Week
Heidi went home this weekend. And Mileah did too, only to come back for church, and then leave again. So I have yet to get an entire apartment picture.
This is the only picture for the week, too!
On Monday, Mileah was at a concert. Heidi and Kelsey both didn't feel well. So I staid behind with them. Meaning, we didn't go to FHE.
And because we didn't go, they decided on a laaaaame FHE Halloween costume. We're going to be M&M Gangsters. I'm...worried about how that will turn out :/
Nothing else really happened this week. Kinda boring...

Why hello, Logan
Welcome to the world Logan Don Cheney. He is such an adorable little boy. A wise old man boy.
I can't wait to see what he looks like in two months :)Alyssa Bateman was very kind and drove me to Kari's on Saturday morning. Mom got there around the same time and is spending the week there. We got to meet baby Logan. So so so small. I forgot how small newborn babies are.
It was fun to play with Alexis. She has so much energy! I couldn't keep up with her.
If you look at Alexis's newborn pictures and look at Logan, they look so similar! That's why I'm so excited to see what Logan looks like once he grows out of being a newborn. But for now he can stay cute and tiny :)
Alexis loved Logan so much! Here's a video of her giving him kisses and trying to hold him.Last Monday for FHE, we drove out to someone's house and had a campfire kind of thing. We combined with another group, so there were lots of people. The guy in the darkness is Austin (Tina), the guy in white is Glen, the guy next to them is from the other group so I don't know him. And then the guy in front who is bleached out by my flash is Austina, who's our dad. I warned everyone "I'm taking a picture, so don't be startled by the flash" but the first one didn't work, because it was dark and I couldn't see where I aim the camera. So I took another one, which is the one I posted. It didn't turn out too great either. But everyone was like "Ahhg stop!" so I didn't take another one.
I don't remember if anything else important happened. I have a really bad memory...
So I'll just include a weird picture of the week of me and Kelsey.
